Support Staff 


Our support staff ensures a smooth start to finish experience for our guests. The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: welcoming all visitors to the studio, checking in classes and processing payments, answering questions in person and over the phone promptly and courteously, maintain up to date knowledge of services and products offered. Support staff also act as key holders; responsible for opening and closing the studio, ensuring our facilities and resources are clean and neat before, during and after class.

The ideal candidate will possess an excellent record of attendance and punctuality, be a confident communicator, is comfortable with computers and effective at learning and using the necessary software products (Google Apps, MindBody). Professional experience in retail, boutique fitness, or any other service based industry a huge plus!

Because Unity Yoga is a small business with limited hours of operation, all support roles are extremely part-time; 2-3 shifts per week, totaling 6-12 hours per week. 

While performing the duties of this job, support staff are regularly required to sit or stand for up to three hours at a time; use hands to handle, feel and grab, and be able to effectively hear and talk in person and via telephone. Support staff is required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms, bend and carry products/boxes up to 15 pounds which requires lifting and/or bending.

Yoga Teacher 


All positions have been filled. We are not seeking submissions at this time. Unity Yoga offers lightly-heated alignment-based Vinyasa classes to adults. Applicants have an interest in alignment, anatomy and biomechanics. Submit your resume and your 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited certification. Teachers with fewer than 1 year of professional group teaching experience will not be considered and should consider our Apprenticeship. To be considered, you must have professional liability insurance.

Teaching Assistant (unpaid)


All positions have been filled. We are not seeking submissions at this time. Unity Yoga offers lightly-heated alignment-based Vinyasa classes to adults. Applicants have an interest in alignment, anatomy and biomechanics. Submit your resume and your 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited certification. To be considered, you must have professional liability insurance. This unpaid internship prepares new teachers to offer high-quality, safe classes to adults. If you are a recent graduate of a 200-hour Teacher Training and have limited experience teaching a public group class in a yoga studio setting, working as a teaching assistant will help develop your "classroom management" skills. Duties include: participation in a monthly teachers' meeting, communicate directly with class participants about injuries or other relevant conditions & assist participants modify their practice accordingly, organize the classroom before/during/after class to ensure consistent safety and comfort, become familiar with the expectations held by class participants, colleagues and managers. 

Apprenticeship Program (cost $240)

Applicants have an interest in alignment, anatomy and biomechanics. Submit your resume and your 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited certification. To be considered, you must have professional liability insurance.This role is designed for those hoping to teach classes professionally. If you are a recent graduate of a 200-hour Teacher Training and have limited experience teaching a public group class in a yoga studio setting, it is necessary to practice teaching  (in this setting) and to receive constructive feedback, prior to substituting classes without supervision. Teaching a public class is different than teaching peers during Teacher Training. This Teaching Assistant role is designed for those hoping to teach classes professionally. Under the supervision of the studio owner, Sarah, you will teach 4 Community Classes. Additionally, you will assist Sarah during 4 of her scheduled classes. Sarah will offer detailed feedback after each session. This experience offers the following: develop confidence when public speaking, learn to anticipate the unexpected, and learn to manage your classroom with poise. Please arrange to take a class taught by Sarah before applying for this role.
