This role is designed for those hoping to teach classes professionally. If you are a recent graduate of a 200-hour Teacher Training and have limited experience teaching a public group class in a yoga studio setting, it is necessary to practice teaching (in this setting) and to receive constructive feedback, prior to substituting classes without supervision. Teaching a public class is different than teaching peers during Teacher Training. This Teaching Assistant role is designed for those hoping to teach classes professionally. Under the supervision of the studio owner, Sarah, you will teach 4 Community Classes. Additionally, you will assist Sarah during 4 of her scheduled classes. Sarah will offer detailed feedback after each session. This experience offers the following: develop confidence when public speaking, learn to anticipate the unexpected, and learn to manage your classroom with poise. Please arrange to take a class taught by Sarah before applying for this role. Cost: $240
