Amanda M

Amanda's classes provide a space to drop in and connect to your breath. Her classes integrate creative sequencing and concise alignment cues to bring balance to the body and the mind. She began teaching yoga after completing training in 2015 recently found inspiration from teachers like Heather Lilleston and Kevin Courtney. She enjoys many restaurants in Harlem, in particular getting brunch at Vinateria and then dessert at L.A. Sweets.

Rachel S

Rachel’s classes focus on using the breath to embrace and ignite our power within. She focuses on alignment in challenging and creative flows, all about moving with the breath in the body. Rachel loves how yoga has brought her back to herself and into her body, and tries to ignite that passion and compassion within her students. Off the mat, she is an actor and spends her time with a few theatre companies, auditioning, and listening to comedy podcasts on the train. She is also an avid traveler and tries to get to a few new counties every year. Walking the city in the spring and summer is her favorite…chances are you won’t find her on the train during that time, but probably grabbing coffee at Monkey Cup and connecting with nature.

Lauren L

In a class with Lauren, expect to flow through a blend of traditional and creative sequencing, supported by a well-curated, modern playlist. Lauren has a long-time dedicated personal practice and has been teaching all levels of vinyasa yoga in the city since 2013, Her teaching style is influenced international teacher Kathryn Budig and elements of ashtanga yoga. If she's not waking up too early for yoga the next morning, you might catch her at her fave Harlem spots, Cove Lounge and Corner Social.

Yvonne C

Yvonne's classes take an alignment focused, injury preventative, and prop supported approach; encouraging her students to build a practice based on incremental growth and rejuvenation. As a Yoga Tune Up® certified teacher, she utilizes corrective exercise, myofascial release techniques, and breathing strategies to help align yoga with her students' overall health and wellness goals. She is inspired by mentors Jodie Rufty and Sarah Bell, as well as Puy Navarro and Mona Anand. 

When not teaching she can be found traveling the world with her partner, writing for film, voraciously reading anything she can get her hands on, and running her not-for-profit theater company Shrunken Shakespeare. Her gluten free and nutritional restrictions find a home at Pisticci in West Harlem for out of this world Italian food.
Move into stillness, quiet the mind. Flow for $8 classes offer accessible, mixed-level, instruction appropriate for all practitioners. Expect a balance of mindful breathing and careful movement.  The music selection will complement the class focus. Cost: $8, or use your Membership/First Visit Offer. For those without a current Membership/First Visit Offer, rental mats are $2, hand towels are $1, bath towels are $2. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins. Online pre-registration closes 30 minutes before class begins. Late entry is not permitted. The late-cancellation window begins 12 hours before class begins. Cancellations that take place during that window will result in a charge of $5. Missing class without canceling will result in a charge of $8 (or loss of class credit).
